We’ve replaced paper forms and messy spreadsheets in thousands of businesses like yours.
Keeping track of who’s off and when is pretty easy when there’s only two or three of you to think about.
But as your team grows, or you get multiple teams to manage, things get more complicated. Every time someone wants a day off you’ve got paperwork to sign-off and clunky spreadsheets to update.
We regularly come across people ’making do’ with spreadsheets and paperwork. We see people not taking their holiday entitlement — which is really important for their health, wellbeing and productivity at work.
But it needn’t be hard, because we made an app to make your life a touch easier and your team a little happier.
A bit about our founders
Hi, we’re Gary and Matt, founders of Timetastic 👋
We’ve been through it: managed teams, filled the forms in, kept the spreadsheets up-to-date while our managers stared over our shoulders. We feel your pain. Back in 2014 we called it, enough was enough — there had to be a better way.
We work hard to make Timetastic super easy for you and your team to use; we spend a lot of time agonising over little things like how specific features work, how to setup Timetastic, and where buttons should go.
You’ll regularly find us answering support questions, staying in close contact with customers like you is an amazing way to help us understand exactly what it is you need.
We’ve built Timetastic for you, we hope it helps you move on from those boring and complicated spreadsheets.
Gary & Matt.

How we use our own product
The improved visibility I get through Timetastic is amazing for managing a remote team. I can see everyone on the wall chart, who’s working, who’s not. I can plan around absences, make sure projects are covered, and see who’s perhaps not taking enough time off.
I love how in a few clicks of the mouse my Timetastic bookings are slotted instantly into my Google calendar, it’s seamless, beautiful. I’ve got all my bookings & meetings in a single calendar now, no need to check my schedule in multiple places.
As a small company ’corporate citizenship’ can sound a bit grand, but being small doesn’t mean we can’t have a positive influence on other people’s lives or the environment we live in.
Significant tree planting forms part of the UK’s plan to get to zero carbon by 2050. And by significant we mean planting 12 million trees a year! Our contribution is being part of the 100 Trees Club to help plant some of the 50 million trees planned as part of the Northern Forest.
We were introduced to Smart Works back in February 2018 and have since become a key supporter of their Manchester centre. Smart Works helps unemployed women get back into work by giving them expert interview coaching and providing a high quality outfit.
Over 60% of their clients land a job within their first month, and so far they’ve helped over 15,000 women all over UK. We’re delighted to be involved.
