Many businesses rely on outdated leave tracking processes like these, helped by downloadable Excel templates, to manage staff time off requests and leave balances. On the request form, they put in their dates, provide any details about their leave request, and select the right leave type from the drop down list.

Based on your company’s settings, that request may or may not need your approval.
